ninehundredcm² is a collection of mosaic artworks featuring contemporary graphics in a 30×30 cm format. This line represents an innovative approach where only the subject, whether it be a graphic, shape, a word, a text, or a song lyric is handcrafted in mosaic. Using colored or transparent smalti mirrors, and Venetian murrine, every piece is hand-cut from full sheets using a glass cutter and a mosaic hammer to create macro or micro tesserae. With its bright colors and playful subjects, ninehundredcm² offers an innovative perspective on this ancient art form, delivering a result that is both imaginative and uniquely creative.
